Hindu Monk and his Holy Medicine

After his death, a Hindu monk went to Yamaloka on his judgment day. Evaluated on his reserves of good and bad deeds, he was ordered to be sent to Hell. Shocked terribly, he argued with the executives there but his explanations could not broker an escape. He wanted a fair trial with the God himself to explain his stand before the judgment was executed. Luckily, his demand was heard heard after quite a few arguments. He was escorted to the God's palace. God thundered, "Why are you here? Judgments were written unbiased and to the fairest possible extent. You shall not be pardoned, whatsoever may be your concern. Anyhow, I will hear how may you try persuading me".  Saluting the God, the monk started, “Lord, I was a hermit who lived alongside the serene valleys of Vindhyas.
