Chinese space operations were remarkable over the years. China in 2005 became the 3 rd nation in the world to send man on its own, beyond atmospheric boundaries. And in 2008, it carried out a successful spacewalk. Space programs in China are planned and executed by two agencies namely the China National Space Administration and the China Aerospace Corporation. Previously, the authority for space developments was the Ministry of Aerospace Industry. As space leadership reflects national capabilities and international influence, every country strives to prove their part of dominance in the field of space research and development. China had planned to send a laboratory module to space in the current year which shall be the first building block of the new Chinese space station.
